This is one of my favorite Wrestlemanias its Wwe Wrestlemania XIX 19 2003 it was on Sunday March 30th 03. They are nine matches on the pay per view Wwe Cruiserweight champion Matt Hardy vs Rey Mysterio. Matt Hardy defeated Rey Mysterio. The Undertaker and Nathan Jones defeated The Big Show and The A Train and The Undertaker became 11 – 0 at Wrestlemania. Wwe women’s champion Trish Stratus vs Jazz vs Victoria in a triple threat women’s championship match. Trish Stratus defeated Jazz and Victoria and retained the women’s championship. Trish Stratus gave Victoria a hard kick to the chest and pinned her one two three while Jazz was outside the ring and Trish Stratus retained the women’s championship. The next match was a triple threat WWE Tag Team Championship match between the team of Rhyno and Chris Benoit, against the team of Los Guerreros Chavo and Eddie Guerrero and the champions, Team Angle Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas. A non-stop action match, as all competitors participated in the match. Rhyno delivered a Gore on Chavo but Benjamin tagged himself into the match and successfully pinned Chavo, thus Team Angle won the match and retained the Tag Team Championship. The fifth match was the encounter of Chris Jericho and Shawn Michaels. Chris Jericho had the advantage over Michaels in the beginning of the match, as he early on applied the Walls of Jericho onto Michaels. Late into the match, Michaels attempted Sweet Chin Music on Jericho but Jericho countered it into the Walls of Jericho. After Michaels freed himself from Jericho’s submission hold, Jericho attempted a suplex that Michaels countered into a roll up that gave Michaels a successful pinfall, thus Michaels won the match. After the match, Jericho offered a handshake to Michaels and they hugged, before Jericho low blowed Michaels and Chris Jericho walked out the ring crying and upset. Before the next match begun, a fatal four-way pillow fight hosted by Jonathan Coachman took place between Stacy Keibler, Torrie Wilson, Tanya Ballinger, and Kitana Baker. The match went to a no contest when all four women teamed up pulling down Coachman’s pants and pinning him.The next match was a World Heavyweight Championship match between Booker T and then champion Triple H. The match began with Booker in control of the match over Triple H, however, Ric Flair, who was at ringside in Triple H’s corner, threw Booker’s knee into the steel steps. The attack allowed Triple H to work over Booker’s leg, as he applied various submission holds onto Booker’s leg including the Indian deathlock. Booker T retaliated and took control of the match; after he delivered a Harlem leg drop, Booker T grasped his knee in pain, which allowed Triple H to recover and perform a Pedigree for a pinfall Triple H won the match and retained the World Heavyweight Championship. The seventh match was a Street fight between Hulk Hogan and the WWE Chairman, Mr. McMahon. Both Hogan and McMahon tested each other’s strength in the beginning of the match, until McMahon threw Hogan at ringside. Hogan then countered a chairshot by McMahon into several of his own, that caused McMahon to bleed from the head. Late into the match, Roddy Piper interfered in the match as he hit Hogan with a pipe. Hogan however, later retaliated by delivering a big boot and three running leg drops to McMahon and successfully pinned McMahon Hogan won the match. The next, and final match on the was the encounter of The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin. The match began with Austin and Rock brawling in the ring, which ended up at ringside. Throughout the match, Rock worked over Austin’s leg, which included Rock applying a Sharpshooter on Austin. Rock then began to taunt Austin, as he put on his vest and imitated his taunts, which led to The Rock running into a Rock Bottom by Austin. Rock then retaliated by delivering a Stone Cold Stunner. Austin performed the Stone Cold Stunner on Rock for a near-fall, much to Austin’s shock. After he failed to win with the People’s Elbow, Rock then performed three Rock Bottoms on Austin that led to the Rock successfully pinning Austin and winning the match. The main event was a WWE Championship match between Brock Lesnar and the champion, Kurt Angle, with the stipulation that there would be no Champion’s Advantage in other words, the title could change hands on a disqualification or a countout. The match began with Lesnar and Angle wrestling back and forth, until Angle countered a shoulder block into a German suplex. Lesnar would then attempt an F-5 on Angle but Angle countered it into an Ankle Lock, that Lesnar was able to escape out of. As Lesnar escaped, Angle would attempt an Angle Slam, however, Lesnar countered into an F-5. Instead of covering Angle, Lesnar climbed to the top rope and botched a Shooting Star Press on Angle, which Angle covered for by pinning Lesnar for a near-fall. After Lesnar kicked out, Angle picked up Lesnar only to be hit with a third F-5, Lesnar then successfully pinned Angle, winning the match and the WWE Championship. After the match, Angle and Lesnar shook hands and embraced closing the show.
